Daniel J. Llerena

Chief Financial Officer

Daniel Llerena is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Forward Science. Prior to being named CFO, he served as the Vice President of Finance upon joining the company in 2016. Daniel received his Master’s Degree in accounting from the University of Florida and has over 10 years of experience in public accounting, during which time he worked at the “Big 4” accounting firms, specializing in the healthcare industry. In addition to his finance and accounting duties, Daniel’s responsibilities at Forward Science include human resources oversight and strategic sales; as well as, assisting the engineering team on research and development projects. His well-rounded skillset and overall approach to business has been a key asset to Forward Science’s growth and advancement.

Todd Nickerson

Chief Marketing Officer

Todd Nickerson is currently serving as the Chief Marketing Officer for PerioStōm. Todd brings extensive sales and business development experience with over 20 years in the dental industry. Todd was the first employee that launched Smile Source, an independent franchise network that grew to over 750 locations. He then joined US Oral Surgery Management as Vice President, growing that company to over 150 locations and a successful exit. Todd then rounded out his career as the Chief Development Officer at Rock Dental Brands. Todd earned his Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. His responsibilities at Forward Science include strategic sales leadership and industry distribution channel management for PerioStōm LLC. His well-rounded skill set, and industry connections will be a key asset to PerioStōm's growth and advancement.

Ellen Myers, RDH, BS.

Vice President of Clinical Affairs and Strategic Markets

Ellen Myers serves as Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Forward Science, where she leads the strategic direction of clinical initiatives, education, and research to advance innovation in oral healthcare. She partners cross-functionally to translate emerging science into clinical practice, supporting dental professionals with evidence-based solutions that improve patient outcomes worldwide. Ellen earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from the Texas A&M University College of Dentistry and brings more than a decade of clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist. Her unique blend of clinical expertise, strategic vision, and passion for education fuels her mission to elevate standards of care and expand Forward Science’s global impact.

Jason Roach

Executive Director
of Business Development

Jason is an experienced, mature leader with a proven record in the healthcare market. He has held numerous sales and leadership positions in the medical device field. Jason was Regional Biologics Manager for Medtronic, the largest medical device company in the world. He was the Senior Area Sales Manager for Bioventus Surgical, a global leader in orthobiologics. He was also Director of Sales for Trimira, LLC, a privately held global medical diagnostic device and imaging company. Other past positions include: Area VP, Southwest for Keystone Dental, Inc. and Regional Sales Director, Southwest for Straumann USA where he earned the “Blue Vase” award presented to the #1 manager in the company. Jason attended Oklahoma State University and Sam Houston State University, receiving the BBA in Accounting. He also successfully completed the Executive Program in Strategic Sales Management from The University of Chicago/Booth School of Business.

Jeremy Poirier

Director of Manufacturing

Jeremy Poirier is currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing at Forward Science. With over 15 years of experience in manufacturing and operations, Jeremy brings a strong foundation built upon his prior roles at Baker Hughes, Schlumberger, and Forward Science. Jeremy first joined the Forward Science team in 2014, gaining six years of experience and progressing through various roles before being named Director of Manufacturing. His hands-on approach and focus on building a reliable team have been instrumental in optimizing production processes and ensuring consistent product quality. Jeremy holds an Associate’s Degree in Network Technology from South Louisiana Community College. His expertise and leadership continue to play a key role in Forward Science’s mission to advance innovative healthcare solutions.
