Forward Science partners with Aspen Dental to provide PerioStōm®
Houston, TX (September 2025) – Forward Science announced an agreement with Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI) that makes Forward Science’s newest innovation, PerioStōm®, available to independent dentists in more than 1,100 Aspen Dental offices nationwide. After previous successful partnerships with OralID®, TheraStōm®, and OxiStōm®, this marks the fourth collaboration between Forward Science and ADMI. This partnership equips Aspen Dental clinicians with an FDA-cleared, non-drug wound dressing designed to enhance periodontal care and improve patient outcomes.
PerioStōm is powered by chitosan microspheres, a biocompatible polymer. Applied after iatrogenic procedures such as scaling and root planing (SRP), PerioStōm® protects the oral mucosa, and supports a smoother recovery. Its advanced delivery system, featuring a curved stainless-steel tip with the same diameter as a curette, allows precise placement at the base of the periodontal pocket.
